            Some Atomic Palace History

Atomic Palace was first conceived by me and my sis Nellie Viper around the time the No Label club closed.  We had lost our favorite venue, and we decided to start our own, with the help of Nellie's partner GeneVincent Tigerpaw, owner of the Ace Café and Morrison sim.  He helped us by providing a parcel and a building which was a HUGE refurbished movie theater, complete with lobby, stage, boxes, and a projection booth.  It was really too big, but I do miss that stage sometimes.

We're gonna try this again.  Special Brew has her tech issues worked out, so she's going to be doing her debut gig for real today, starting at 5 SLT Saturday May 13!  Come down and dig her patented mix of rockabilly, surf rock, dub and underground country!

Today is my real life birthday (39 and holding, thank you very much), and I want you all to see a shot from the photo shoot Idid yesterday with our DJs Laura Draesia and Prudence Memo. Prue is madly Photoshopping some shots, so there will be much better versions that this at some point, but I'm so excited I wanted to share.

Why have I not done this before???

For a club that has been open since August 2011 in three different locations, Atomic Palace has been lacking an online presence until now for some reason.  Thanks to Ginger Alsop for suggesting this.  I'll be posting pictures, events, DJ stuff, stories, etc.  As soon as I get it up and running I'll link it to my Facebook page.
